  • Audiogram

Audiograms are conducted for employees who work in occupations where they may be exposed to high frequency noise exposure. By conducting an audiogram every year, an employer is able to monitor any hearing loss that may have occurred and also establish means of preventing future exposure.

Our audiograms are conducted in a booth using an audiometer that will play tones at different levels to try to solicit a positive hearing response from the employee. The standard test usually takes about 10 minutes.

These results are reported to the employer for them to establish a baseline hearing level for the employee, and future results are reported to the employer for follow up with their designated physician or audiologist to establish any kind of hearing threshold shifts.
