Maritime Security CBT

Overview: The Maritime Security CBT training program will provide students with the essential knowledge necessary to ensure general maritime security for vessels and/or ports.

Course Length: Approximately 2hrs, but may vary depending upon the individual enrolled | CFR Reference: 33 CFR 104.220, 104.225, 105.210, 105.215

Course Objectives: Upon completion of Maritime Security CBT training, the student will be familiar with:

MARSEC security levels
Recognition and detection of suspicious individuals, activities, and devices
Procedures for searches and screening
Procedures for response and reporting
Types of Weapons of Mass Destruction

Written Exam: Written competency will be evaluated at the end of each course. Incorrectly answered questions will be reviewed with student to ensure understanding before completion of course.
