Safety Management Systems’ (SMS) Incident Command Systems (ICS) training courses begin in January.

As part of the public-private partnership between SMS and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s National Incident Management Systems and Advanced Technologies (NIMSAT) Institute, Incident Command Systems (ICS) training courses are being offered at SMS, Dec. 9-13. These courses include college credit from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and/or continuing education units from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.

The ICS training courses are required by public sector officials, and often taken by oil & gas, fertilizer, and other corporate industries. In addition, SMS will be providing site-specific disaster response consulting.
