Overview: During this training session, your duties conducting atmospheric testing are outlined as well as the possible hazards that can occur in a confined space. Also, you will learn about confined space awareness in a non permit confined space entry.
Course Length: 2 hours
Course Objectives: Upon completion of this training the student will be familiar with:
- Confined space awareness
- Permit required confined space entry
- Atmospheric hazards
- Physical confined space hazards
- Electronic gas monitor operation
- Bump testing procedures for electronic monitors
- Types of gases able to detect

Written Exam: Written and hands on competency will be evaluated at the end of each course. Incorrectly answered questions will be reviewed with student to ensure understanding before completion of course.
