  • Sea Survival SWET/HUET Inclusive

    Overview: The Sea Survival SWET/HUET course is a 4hr basic water survival program intended to prepare the customer with the information and skills necessary to survive in the event of an offshore emergency. Under the instruction of our professional staff, participants receive Helicopter Underwater Egress Training (HUET) utilizing a Shallow Water Egress Trainer (SWET).

    Course Length: 4hrs | CFR Reference: API RP T-7, T-4, T-1, and USCG Title 33

    Course Objectives: Upon completion of basic water survival training, the student will be familiar with:
    • Emergency Situations
    • Survival Principles
    • Personal Flotation Devices
    • Life Ring Buoys
    • Life Floats
    • Life Rafts
    • Survival Capsule
    • Signaling Equipment and Pyrotechnics
    • Helicopter Safety
    • Emergency preparation for offshore locations
    Prerequisites: There are no particular educational requirements. All trainees must be certified by a doctor to be in good health.

    Retraining: Student is responsible for retraining every 3 years.
