The OPITO CA-EBS standard is coming to the US Gulf of Mexico. As of June 1, 2019, offshore workers in these waters will be updated to include BOISET with CA-EBS training. For a limited time, the industry forum has agreed that valid and current OPITO T-HUET certifications plus a FOET CA-EBS will be valid as a BOSIET CA-EBS. If you already have BOSIET, FOET is the refresher course counterpart.
This training special is only valid for a limited time, so it’s a great opportunity to upgrade your US-based personnel who have T-HUETs into the BOSIET/FOET international standard. The CA-EBS will change come June 1, so now’s the time to get your team ready. Any valid OPITO T-HUET delegate will quality for the training upgrade. We are now offering a training package of T-HUET plus FOET CA-EBS for a special price of $500 to accommodate these changes.

The Standard: The OPITO standards are a set of training and/or competence standards, produced and agreed upon by the offshore oil and gas industry, covering a variety of offshore emergency response duties and occupational roles.
This course is accepted in most regions of the world where oil and gas industries operate.

Basic Offshore Safety Induction Emergency Training with Compressed Air Cold Water
The OPITO-approved Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) course provides students with a range of knowledge and skills relevant to working offshore and proper emergency response procedures, including safety induction, fire safety and self rescue, helicopter safety and escape, and sea survival inclusive of TEMPSC and first aid.
