CORE Training Day 2


The second day of a three-day training focusing on the major OSHA standards and hazards of industries. Each employer is responsible for assuring compliance with these standards.

Core Training Day 2 encompasses the following:

Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response; Awareness Level 4 Hour [Reference 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(i)]

Hazardous Material Transportation (formerly DOT HM-126f) Awareness; DOT 49 CFR 172.704

Course Objectives

Upon completion of CORE Training Day 2, the student will be familiar with:

  • Definitions, General Industry standards, U.S. Coast Guard and BSEE standards
  • General explanation of the purpose for the regulations
  • Basic hands-on and familiarity with these subjects

Prerequisite: None

Written Exam: Written and hands-on competency will be evaluated at the end of each course. Incorrectly answered questions will be reviewed with student to ensure understanding before completion of course.

Retraining: Student is responsible for retraining every year.
