CORE Training Day 2

Overview: The 2nd day of a 3-day training focusing on the major OSHA standards and hazards of industries. Each employer is responsible for assuring compliance with these standards.

Course Length: 8hrs | CFR References: OSHA, BSEE, NFPA, ANSI (varies)

Course Objectives: Upon completion of CORE Training Day 2, the student will be familiar with:

Definitions, General Industry standards, U.S. Coast Guard and BSEE standards
General explanation of the purpose for the regulations
Basic hands-on and familiarity with these subjects

Hazard Communication (HAZCOM)
Hazardous Waste Operations Awareness
Hazardous Chemical Security Awareness
Benzene Awareness
Asbestos Awareness
Bloodborne Pathogens

Fall Protection Awareness
Job Safety Analysis (JSA) Awareness
Behavioral-Based Safety
Hazard ID/Stop Work Authority/Incident Reporting
SafeGulf/Rig Pass (IADC) Test-Out (Optional)

Prerequisite: None.

Written Exam: Written and hands-on competency will be evaluated at the end of each course. Incorrectly answered questions will be reviewed with student to ensure understanding before completion of course.

Retraining: Student is responsible for retraining every year.
