Scott Domingue

President of Safety Management Systems

As president of Safety Management Systems, a purpose-driven company dedicated to the safety and wellbeing of oil & gas workers, Scott Domingue has overall responsibility for the company. In 1996, he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from LSU while also playing for the Fighting Tiger football team. Scott got an early start with Acadian, and in the last 22 years has held positions with the ambulance and security divisions. He would eventually transition to SMS as a general manager and then vice president before being named president in 2010. Over the years, Scott has served in many philanthropic roles, including as Chair for the United Way of Acadiana’s 2016 Capital Campaign. He is a graduate of Leadership Lafayette and Leadership Louisiana, and was chosen by The Daily Advertiser as one of the “Top 20 Under 40.” He also serves on the board of directors for the Louisiana Oil and Gas Association, the Louisiana Gulf Coast Oil Exposition and the Petroleum Club of Lafayette, and is a member of the Young Presidents' Organization.

Courtney Juneau

Vice President of Operations

Courtney Juneau, vice president of operations, started his career at Acadian in 2006. He is responsible for all day-to-day operations for Safety Management Systems, including remote paramedics, safety technicians, training and HSE consultants. In 2001, he joined Safety Management Systems as the HSE consulting manager responsible for quality control, marketing and all HSE consulting operations. Courtney graduated from University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in applied life sciences. He is involved in many aspects of his community as a committee member for both United Way and the American Cancer Society, a sponsor for the Sky’s the Limit Foundation, and a member of St Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church.

Steve Friedman

Director of Finance

Steven Friedman, director of finance, is responsible for the financial and accounting activities of Safety Management Systems. Steven, who has worked for SMS since 2011, graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and received his master’s degree from the University of Tampa. He is a Chartered Global Management Accountant and a dedicated member of many organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Knights of Columbus.

Krista Hebert

Director of Human Resources

Krista Hebert directs and coordinates HR policies and programs with an emphasis on employee relations, benefits, recruitment, and reporting. She ensures the organization is in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and works closely with the vice president of human resources on the development, implementation and evaluation of HR policies, programs, and activities. Krista has been with Acadian since 2004 and holds a bachelor's of science degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is member of the National Society for Human Resources and former treasurer of the Acadiana Society for Human Resources.

Scott Guidry

General Counsel

Scott Guidry handles a variety of tasks for all Acadian divisions, including SMS, in areas such as debt collection, contracts, employment law, governmental affairs, risk management and compliance oversight. He holds a bachelor of science in business management from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a juris doctorate from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center. Previously, Scott was an Assistant District Attorney for the 15th Judicial District Attorney's Office and judicial law clerk to the Honorable Penelope Richard, 38th Judicial District Court. He also taught business law at UL Lafayette. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Association of Corporate Counsel, American Health Lawyers Association and Louisiana Lobbyist Association. He has served as a board member for his local chapters of the March of Dimes and Junior Achievement and currently serves on the boards of the Louisiana Ambulance Alliance and the Lafayette General Enterprise Risk Management Committee.

Brett Fontenot

Division Manager - Safety & Inspection

Brett Fontenot manages customer relationships by understanding the needs of each client and ensuring satisfaction with the services provided. Brett also works closely with new clients to better understand their needs and projected work. An employee of SMS for more than six years, Brett earned his associate degree in general studies and occupation health and safety. Brett is a board certified occupational health and safety technologist and a national registered EMT.

Ryan Hester, CSP, CAC

Manager - West Coast

Ryan Hester is responsible for overseeing all safety and industrial hygiene services for the west coast region. He has more than 10 years of experience in occupational safety and health, with an emphasis on industrial hygiene. Ryan has provided services across many industries including oil and gas, public utilities, construction, manufacturing and aerospace. He is passionate about providing excellent service to our clients by working closely with them, listening to and understanding their goals and objectives and tailoring our services to achieve those goals and objectives. Ryan has a degree in Organizational Leadership from Biola University in La Mirada, CA, where he graduated with honors. He is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), certified by the California Department of Public Health as a Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor & Project Monitor, and he is a California Division of Occupational Safety and Health Certified Asbestos Consultant. Ryan is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Industrial Hygiene at Montana Tech.

Joe F. Moseley, III

Manager - Safety

Joe Moseley, based in Houston, oversees daily operations for the SMS' Southwest region, including Permian Basin and Eagle Ford Shale. Joe began his career in the oil & gas industry with AIS in 2004 as a safety specialist for Chevron. In 2008, he began working on land drilling for Shell in south Texas then moved to north Louisiana to work for Shell as a lead technician and on new rig start ups. He became field support supervisor in north Louisiana, overseeing daily operations and mentoring new safety specialists. Joe is currently working towards his Occupational Health and Safety Technologist certification.

Teresa Jeffcoat

Manager - Craft Inspection

Teresa Jeffcoat has over 15 years of experience in sales, accounting, and business administration. Jeffcoat is responsible for providing financial, administrative, and contract services support in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations both internally and externally. Pivotal in building relationships with business and technical decision-makers and aligning customer priorities to Liberty's value offerings.

Teresa manages and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Liberty sales process. She has completed 35 hours of business education including Business Management, Employment Law, Accounting, and attended Sam Houston State University.

Training, Consulting & Rescue

Jeff Vidacovich

Division Manager - Consulting, Training & Rescue Services

Jeff Vidacovich, division manager, is responsible for the day-to-day operations for all of SMS's training, consulting and rescue services. Jeff started his career at Acadian in 2003, working in the fleet/facility maintenance department. In 2010, after earning a bachelor's degree in general studies from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and competing as a student-athlete on the Ragin' Cajuns Track Team, he transitioned to SMS.

Jeff completed SMS’s ARD training program and began as an HSE technician on drilling and completion operations. Since then, he has worked as an HSE lead technician, QA/QC coordinator and field support supervisor supporting SMS’s HSE, medical, H2S and rescue technicians as well as assisting in many emergency response efforts. Jeff is passionate about providing quality industry training and safety for oil and gas workers, as was the introduction and foundation to his career in the industry.

Allan Weatherford

Division Manager - Pipeline Regulatory Compliance

Allan Weatherford is a degreed environmentalist, with permitting and extensive inspection experience in both agency and industry roles. Allan brings with him more than 23 years of industry experience and expertise. Past experience includes serving in key management roles with major gas companies as Environmentalist, Operations Director, and Technical Services Director prior to him opening the doors at Liberty in 2004. Additional credentials include certifications as a Registered Environmental Manager (REM) and Certified Environmental Property Assessor (CEPA) and BA and MBA degrees from Rollins College and Nova Southeastern University, respectively.

Mike Fuentes

Manager - Pipeline Consulting

Mike Fuentes provides a wide range of professional energy industry sector (natural gas/liquid pipelines, processing plants, power plants) consulting services such as safety and health, environmental, pipeline regulatory, FERC 7(c), post-construction monitoring and mitigation, operations compliance auditing, project management, facility security, due-diligence, domestic and international account management, incident investigation, compliance training, emergency/crisis management, incident investigation, compliance quality management (procedure development) and overall compliance management programs.

Mike has been involved in operations for over 30 years, attended the University of Texas at Permian Basin and speaks fluent Spanish.

Russell Cryer

Executive Sales

Russell Cryer has been spent nearly a decade with Acadian. An oilfield sales veteran, Russell is responsible for new business development for SMS across the United States. Russell earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1989.

Paul Hamilton

Paul Hamilton

Executive Sales

Paul Hamilton began working for Acadian as a paramedic in 1993 and later transferred to the Lafayette dispatch center in 1999. He earned an associate’s degree in emergency health science from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1993.

Hal Weatherford

Sales Representative

Hal Weatherford promotes and sells Liberty Energy Services to existing and prospective clients. Specializing in the West TX region, his main goal is to establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships. Previously, Hal served as Liberty's Sr. Recruiter and spent years in the field as an inspector. He is currently attending Sam Houston State University, where he plans to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Katlin Jeffcoat

Sales Representative

Katlin Jeffcoat started his career in energy in 2006 as a safety representative with Wapiti Energy. In 2010, he became a safety inspector with Liberty Pipeline Services, now known as Liberty Energy Services. In 2016, he transitioned into his current role of sales representative. Katlin uses his decade of experience in the field to build relationships with Liberty customers and employees.

Jeremy Meadors

Sales Representative

Jeremy Meadors is the West Coast Sales Representative, connecting customers with SMS service offerings in safety, industrial hygiene, training and medical services. He grew up in the Los Angeles area before moving to Bakersfield in 1989. He is a graduate of Foothill High School and attended Bakersfield College, winning over 50 local, state and national awards for journalism excellence. He spent time during college as a columnist and freelancing for the Bakersfield Californian.

Jeremy is proud to be the father of three children and five grandchildren. He enjoys camping, fishing and boating and is passionately involved in the defense of the Second Amendment to the US Constitution.

Ryan Granger

Sales Representative

Ryan Granger was employed with SMS from 2007 - 2011 as an HSE Consultant and returned in February 2019 as Business Development Rep. for the Training and Consulting division. Ryan has 10 years of safety services sales experience along with 20 years of HSE management experience in the upstream, midstream and downstream sectors of the oil and gas industry. He holds numerous trainer certifications from such organizations as American Petroleum Institute (API), OSHA and MSHA. Ryan is an active member of the Gulf Coast Safety and Training Group (GCSTG) along with other non-profit organizations.


Sheila Hebert

Business Office Manager

Sheila Hebert has been with Acadian for more than 30 years. Sheila has worked in many departments within Acadian such as Medicare, Medicaid, insurance, medical records, collections and customer service and was an integral part of the MSC program. Sheila moved to SMS in 2002 and currently serves as a manager in the SMS business office. An active member of the community, Sheila is involved with The United Way, church activities, fundraiser walks, and local hospitals.
