Executive Leadership
Scott Domingue
President
Scott Domingue is the president of Safety Management Systems, bringing more than a decade of executive experience to the company. Under his leadership, SMS has diversified its offerings to encompass not only servicing the oil and gas industry, but emergency response markets as well. Through Scott’s guidance, SMS has consistent yearly growth results. SMS was ranked 23rd on the prestigious 2021 LSU Top 100 list, which recognizes the 100 fastest growing LSU graduate-owned or LSU graduate-led businesses in the world. Scott also provides executive leadership for Acadian Total Security, Acadian Health, and Acadian Federal Resources.
Scott is a graduate of Leadership Louisiana and Leadership Lafayette, and was a past chair for the Board of Directors of United Way of Acadiana. He is a member of the Louisiana Oil and Gas Association and the Young Presidents’ Organization, a global leadership community of chief executives.
He is married to Crystal Greene Domingue and the father of Ani and John Warner.
Courtney Juneau
Vice President of Operations
Courtney Juneau, vice president of operations, started his career at Acadian Companies in 2006. He is responsible for all of SMS’ day-to-day operations, including remote paramedics, safety technicians, training and HSE consultants. In 2001, he joined Safety Management Systems as the HSE consulting manager responsible for quality control, marketing and all HSE consulting operations.
Courtney graduated from University of Louisiana in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in applied life sciences. He is involved in many aspects of his community as a committee member for United Way and the American Cancer Society, a sponsor for the Sky’s the Limit Foundation, and a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church.
Katherine Roy
Director of Finance
Katherine Roy oversees all aspects of the company’s accounting and billing functions. She works to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities, as well as provide leadership in the development and evaluation of short- and long-term strategic financial plans.
Katherine is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, and has more than 17 years of experience in multiple financial roles. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in finance. She earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Brett Fontenot
Director of Safety and Inspection
Brett Fontenot has been in the oil and gas industry for nearly 20 years, with 16 years devoted to SMS. Starting his career as a health safety and environmental consultant, Brett immediately understood the fundamentals of the business, allowing him to rapidly establish meaningful relationships.
Brett understands the needs of each client and ensures satisfaction with the services provided. Brett works closely with new clients to better understand their needs and projected work. He earned his associate degree in general studies and occupational health and safety. He is a board-certified Occupational Health and Safety Technologist by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals and a nationally registered EMT.
Martin Bech
General Counsel and Acadian Companies Vice President
Martin Bech brings more than 20 years of extensive experience in oil & gas, SEC and NASDAQ regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, insurance coverage and risk management, corporate finance, commercial contracts, general business and human resources.
As General Counsel, Martin is responsible for the legal and compliance functions of Acadian Companies’ divisions, including contract review, legal research, employment law, acquisition strategies and HIPAA compliance. He also works with Acadian’s IT team to advise on information security matters.
He has been a member of the Board of Trustees for Ochsner Lafayette General Health System for more than seven years. Martin holds two bachelor’s degrees from LSU, one in Political Science with an emphasis on International Relations and a second in French, which he is fluent in. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University College of Law.
Krista Gravouia
Director of Human Resources
Krista Gravouia directs and coordinates HR policies and programs with an emphasis on employee relations, benefits, recruitment, and reporting. She ensures the organization is in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and works closely with the vice president of human resources on the development, implementation and evaluation of HR policies, programs, and activities.
Krista has been with Acadian Companies since 2004 and holds a bachelor of Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is a member of the National Society for Human Resources and former treasurer of the Acadiana Society for Human Resources.
Dr. Ameen Jamali
Medical Director
Dr. Ameen M. Jamali, MD, FACEP, brings extensive experience and expertise to his role as Medical Director at Safety Management Systems. Currently serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Dr. Jamali combines academic pursuits with hands-on clinical practice, providing care at the Medical Center Hospital Emergency Department in Odessa, Texas.
With positions at prestigious institutions like Johns Hopkins, Dr. Jamali has contributed significantly to emergency medicine and tactical medicine. He has provided medical support to various government agencies, including the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the United States Secret Service.
Board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Jamali’s training and education at institutions like William Beaumont Hospital and the University of Toledo College of Medicine have laid the foundation for his clinical skills and leadership abilities.
Dr. Jamali’s involvement in research and international healthcare initiatives, including collaborations with the World Health Organization, reflects his commitment to addressing global health challenges. He is an active member of professional organizations such as the American College of Emergency Physicians.

Spencer Babineaux
Medical Operations Manager
Spencer Babineaux is a highly skilled and experienced professional with more than 27 years of experience in the emergency medical services industry. He joined Acadian Ambulance as an EMT-Basic in December 1993. After completing his Associate’s Degree in Emergency Health Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1994, he began working as a paramedic.
From 1996 to 2021, Spencer earned many promotions through his commitment to learning and professional development skills, earning him his position as Manager of Medical Services for SMS, overseeing the entire medical department.
Spencer’s expertise and dedication have been invaluable to SMS’ success. His commitment to providing our clients with the highest level of service and ensuring that SMS continues to meet and exceed its goals and objectives makes him a valuable asset to the SMS team.
Hunter Miller
Executive Sales – Medical
Hunter is a graduate of Louisiana State University, having earned his Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2021, with minors in Leadership, Psychology, and Sociology. His professional journey began in the medical device industry, where he served as a sales representative at both Stryker and Zimmer Biomet.
Hunter is a Sales Representative at SMS, bringing his expertise and dedication to the team. Hunter is originally from Crowley, Louisiana. He is married to Gabby Domingue.
Outside of work, Hunter is an enthusiast of various outdoor and recreational activities. He enjoys spending his free time exercising, playing golf and indulging in hunting and fishing. Above all, he cherishes moments spent with his family.
Fred Sonnier
Physician Assistant
Fred Sonnier is SMS’s first PA. He assists Medical Director Dr. Ameen Jamali in overseeing operations for disaster management and pandemic relief, coordinating testing and care for employees to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. He works with SMS’ remote paramedics in decision making regarding the healthcare of our clients and their workforce.
Fred has been a PA for 21 years, and proudly served 11 years in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. He is a graduate of Vermilion Catholic High School, University of Southwest Louisiana (now University of Louisiana at Lafayette) and Louisiana State University Health Science Center in Shreveport.

Joe Moseley
Operations Manager – Safety
Joe Moseley is the Operations Manager for SMS’ safety services. He began his career with SMS in 2004. During his tenure, he has worked in many capacities including Safety Technician (onshore and in the Gulf of Mexico) and Safety Consultant, and has assisted in sales efforts, emergency response, and medical projects. Joe has been part of the management team since 2008. He has recently become the manager of the Liberty Energy Services team. He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and hunting.
Russell Cryer
Executive Sales – Safety
Russell Cryer has been with Acadian Companies for 14 years. An oilfield sales veteran, Russell is responsible for new business development for SMS across the United States. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Southwest Louisiana in 1989.
Billy Risseeuw
Field Operations Manager/Business Development Representative
Billy has dedicated his career to the construction and oil and gas industries since he graduated high school. With more than 13 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, he has gained a wealth of knowledge across various facets of pipelining.
Billy has held several significant roles, such as Utility, Coating, and Assistant Chief Inspector, as well as fulfilling responsibilities as Safety Manager, Construction Manager, and Superintendent. With that experience, he now serves as a Field Operations Manager and Business Development Representative. Billy finds fulfillment in advocating for his fellow colleagues in the field. He considers it a privilege to contribute to the industry from a different perspective, one that allows him to support and empower those working on the frontline.

Jeff Vidacovich
Operations Manager – Consulting, Training, and Rescue Services
Jeff Vidacovich, division manager, is responsible for the day-to-day operations for all SMS training, consulting and rescue services. Jeff started his career at Acadian Companies in 2003, working in the fleet/facility maintenance department. In 2010, after earning a bachelor’s degree in general studies from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and competing as a student-athlete on the Ragin’ Cajuns Track Team, he transitioned to SMS with a passion for providing quality industry training and safety for oil and gas workers.
Jeff completed SMS’s ARD training program and began as an HSE technician on drilling and completion operations. Since then, he has worked as an HSE lead technician, QA/QC coordinator and field support supervisor supporting SMS’s HSE, medical, H2S and rescue technicians, as well as assisting in many emergency response efforts.
David Beadle
Industrial Hygiene Business Development Manager
David Beadle has 32 years of experience in the industrial hygiene (IH) field and has been with SMS for more than 12 years. As the IH business development manager, Beadle develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for IH services, defines IH performance objectives, and plans and coordinates IH training programs for corporate-wide application. In addition, he formulates IH business development strategy, envisions new potential markets and develops both short-term and long-term implementation plans. He has also served as SMS’ project manager at the Oroville Dam Spillway in California, a project that spanned three years and involved 35 employees.
David holds dual designations as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Conservation of Natural Resources from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. He has provided IH consultation to the Navy, Air Force, NASA, Department of Energy, Army Corps of Engineers, oil & gas, municipal and state entities.
Clark Quebedeaux
Executive Sales – Professional Services
Clark began his journey with SMS in 2010, following the completion of the ARD training program. Throughout his career at SMS, Clark has held various pivotal roles. He started his tenure as an HSE Technician in the Gulf of Mexico, demonstrating his commitment to safety and operational excellence. He transitioned to an HSE Consultant, where he leveraged his expertise to ensure compliance and promote a culture of safety.
He has played integral roles as a Recruiter and an Operations Supervisor, overseeing safety teams both onshore and offshore. His responsibilities have encompassed assisting sales efforts, coordinating emergency responses, and contributing to medical projects.
Recently, Clark embraced a new challenge as the Professional Services Sales Representative. In this role, his primary focus is on enhancing SMS’s HSE Consulting, Industrial Hygiene, Training, and Confined Space Rescue service lines.
JT Swacker
Sales Representative - Medical Products
JT is a proud graduate of Louisiana State University, where he earned his degree in Marketing in 2023. His journey with SMS began in 2024, where he quickly made an impact by spearheading the expansion of our medical product service line.
With a solid understanding of marketing strategies and a passion for driving growth, JT plays a pivotal role in enhancing our offerings and reaching new markets. His dedication to innovation and excellence fuels his efforts to provide top-notch medical products and services to our valued customers.

Paul Hamilton
Director of Government Relations
Paul Hamilton began working for Acadian Ambulance as a paramedic in 1993 and later transferred to the Lafayette dispatch center in 1999. He earned an associate’s degree in emergency health science from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1993. Paul is married to Nicole Hamilton and has three children, Conner, Carter, and Katelynn.
Matthew Monte
Sales and Marketing Manager
Matt Monte has more than a decade of business development and leadership experience in healthcare, energy, industrial construction, emergency response, and government sectors. He is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management.
Matt is a service-oriented and seasoned leader, responsible for supervising the SMS sales and marketing teams in medical, occupational health, safety, inspection, industrial hygiene, and medical training operations.
Matt has been instrumental in securing our most significant contracts and excels at ensuring that our RFP and RFI submissions are complete and compliant with RFP requirements and editorial specifications. He holds CF APMP certification from the Association of Proposal Management Professionals.
Sheree Dekerlegand
Business Office Manager
Sheree is the Business Office Manager at SMS with 15 years of experience. She started as a file clerk and advanced through various roles, including five years as Training Center Coordinator. She specializes in coordinating communication between operations and the business office to ensure accurate payroll and timely invoicing. Her work has improved collection rates, including recovering over $2 million from a past-due account.
Recognized as Acadian Companies’ ESOP Employee of the Year in 2020 and a finalist for SMS Employee of the Year in 2017, Sheree is known for her effective communication and leadership. She resides in Lafayette, is pursuing a degree in Business Management, and enjoys thrifting and antiquing in her spare time.
