Congratulations to our SMS Standout Jess Hobson. Jess is being recognized for excellent performance and quality of work. She was confronted with an offshore worker that needed medical attention and could not wait until he returned to the shore for care. Jess, being a very experienced medic, needed to do a medical procedure that she never performed before. Never did she shy away from intimidation by the idea of having to do the procedure, but instead, asked the appropriate questions, followed the guidance of medical control, and successfully performed the procedure with the utmost proficient skill and professionalism. The infirmed employee had relief and ultimately had resolution of symptoms prompting praise of Jess’ care, medical aptitude, and compassion. Thank you, Jess, and great work!
