Safety Management Systems, LLC, announced it has acquired Liberty Pipeline Services, LLC, an energy pipeline services consulting firm. The purchase will better serve clients, by making more lifesaving services available to the upstream, midstream and downstream markets.
Safety Management Systems (SMS), based in Lafayette, Louisiana, is a global provider of safety, medical, rescue, training, industrial hygiene and security services to the energy industry. Liberty Pipeline Services (Liberty), based in The Woodlands, Texas is a major provider of consulting and inspection services to the pipeline industry.
“For more than 30 years we have provided life saving services to the energy industry. Our acquisition of Liberty Pipeline Services expands our reach and enables us to offer a more complete package to both our clients and theirs,” said SMS President Scott Domingue.

To showcase this expansion of services for both businesses, Liberty Pipeline Services, LLC has changed its name to Liberty Energy Services, LLC.
