Congratulations to SMS Standout Barrett Brasseux for being recognized for excellent performance. Barrett was recently reassigned as a Project Manager for Covid Vaccine sites in Colorado. This is something a little out of his realm but has taken on the challenge without any hesitation and excelled tremendously! Barrett has taken on extra responsibilities from the client and always has a company and client-first mentality. Great teamwork, Barrett.
We spoke to Barrett about a day in his life.
A.A. Describe a typical day at work.
B.B. I always start my day, with a call to my logistics coordinator and inventory specialist, who assist in getting the day started. Then, I contact our client for a count of vaccines that are needed and pick up supplies to set up our vaccination site. The rest of the day is spent working to vaccinate residents and ending with a short meeting with the group.
A.A. What was the best vacation you have ever taken?
B.B. A trip to Disney World with my wife, two daughters and my brother and his family.
A.A. Describe yourself in one sentence.
B.B. A dedicated husband, father and team player on the job.
A.A. What is your favorite thing about your job?
B.B. The people around me.
A.A. What food could you live on for a month?
B.B. Pizza
A.A. Do you have a side hustle, hobby, or volunteer group that you’re involved in outside of work? What else do you spend your time doing?
B.B. Outside of work, I like to hang out with friends, family, play golf, work in the yard and build things.
A.A. How do you stay motivated at work?
B.B. Knowing that I am providing for my family.
A.A. What has been the most fulfilling moment in your career so far?
B.B. Surviving a helicopter crash.

B.B. Bruce Willis.

B.B. When I got married and had children.

B.B. Love thy neighbor as yourself.

B.B. Playing golf.
