Congratulations to SMS Standout Jonathan Blackwell. Jonathan is a remote paramedic and had a very serious emergency where a patient had a severe allergic reaction. While waiting on the Coast Guard, the patient’s condition worsened to where Jonathan had to intubate and breathe for the patient. When the Coast Guard arrived, Jonathan flew with the patient and continued providing top-notch care totaling eight hours of patient care; five of those eight hours were breathing for the patient. Amazing dedication and work, Jonathan!
