Computer Technician Intern Lang Bui was recently nominated for an SMS standout by Division Manager Allan Weatherford excellent performance and quality of work.
Allan explains why he nominated Lang, “Recently the SMS/Liberty office relocated into a new building. Since it is our busiest time of the year, it was critical that we minimize any business interruption. Lang worked around the clock to make sure that all of our IT needs were met and that our phones, computers and internet were up and running by the next business day. Thank you Lang and the rest of the IT Team that made it all happen.” Congratulations Lang on a job well done!
AC: Describe a typical day at work.
LB: It begins with me logging in and setting up all of my programs for the day. I serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or remote access. I determine the best solution based on the issues and details provided by customers.
AC: What was the best vacation you have ever taken?
LB: My best vacation ever was going to EDC (Electronic dance music festival) in Vegas. EDC is a three day music festival where you meet people that are happy and friendly. People would look out for each other and are usually accepting and open minded to all flavors we humans come in. :)
AC: Describe yourself in one sentence.
LB: I Love to eat, therefore I am always hungry. Got food?
AC: What is your favorite thing about your job?
LB: My favorite thing about my job is that my coworkers/manger cares about me as a person and about my professional growth. There is a genuine spirit of cooperation and shared goals, all revolving around helping the customer which I have not found elsewhere.
AC: What food could you live on for a month?
LB: Sushi.
AC: Do you have a side hustle, hobby or volunteer group that you’re involved in outside of work? What else do you spend your time doing?
LB: I spend a lot of time with my family. By the way, I have eight older brothers. So you could see why.
AC: How do you stay motivated at work?
LB: I always come in with the attitude that I will solve someone’s technical issue.
AC: What has been the most fulfilling moment in your career so far?
LB: The most fulfilling moment in my career would be accepting a position with Acadian Ambulance.
AC: Who would play you in a movie?
LB: Keanu Reeves.
AC: Tell us about a moment that changed your life.
LB: Five years ago when I lost a brother, it made me realize how short life is and I started to live in the moment instead of dying for a moment.
AC: What is your favorite activity outside of work?
LB: I am a huge “geek” when it comes to playing games.

AC: Which talent or superpower would you most like to have and why?
LB: I would love to teleport, I would travel the world every day.
AC: What was the best advice you were ever given?
LB: Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.
AC: Do you have a bucket list? What are the top three things on it?
LB: I would love to go snowboarding in Tokyo, skydiving in Dubai and swimming in Bora Bora.
AC: Do you have any pets? What are their names?
LB: I have a shih tzu named Panda.
